MSNBC panel uses anti-Semitic attacks to bash Trump, invoking Charlottesville, ‘white supremacy’


An MSNBC panel pulled no punches in opposition to President Trump Monday throughout a dialogue on the latest wave of anti-Semitic assaults which have plagued New York and New Jersey in latest days.

After acknowledging President Trump’s tweet condemning the Saturday evening assault in Monsey, N.Y., which injured 5 individuals celebrating Hanukkah, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace instructed the president was “a part of the issue,” noting a report that Democrats have been expressing frustrations that Trump has been “insufficiently clear in denouncing anti-Semitism” and echoing an op-ed written by Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., who instantly blamed Trump for “embracing” anti-Semitism.

Washington Publish reporter Philip Rucker hit Trump, telling Wallace that the rise of anti-Semitic assaults has unfolded “on his watch” and that the president has been “very inconsistent” in addressing them.

Rucker then invoked the 2017 assault in opposition to protesters on the “Unite the Proper” rally in Charlottesville, Va., saying Trump “stopped in need of absolutely condemning white supremacists, neo-Nazis and different hate teams” so he may keep away from offending a part of his “political coalition.”
