They name it the Wall of Fear. It is the tsunami of unfavorable information that we have been swamped with during the last 4 years. Commerce wars, rigidity with North Korea and Iran, rising company debt ranges, fires, floods, energy outages and wild, wild winters. Generally it feels as if we’re teetering on the sting of political, financial and even existential catastrophe. And but, regardless of all of that, the inventory market simply retains on climbing.

Shares are, after all, a projection: they rise as a result of folks purchase them believing they are going to be extra worthwhile sooner or later than they’re immediately. However how can anybody assume the long run seems to be vivid when the current seems so blighted? How is it that shares are capable of claw their means up this Wall of Fear? We speak with Michael Batnick of Ritholtz Wealth Administration about what it’s that is making this market tick, in opposition to all the chances.
