State Department removes NPR reporter from Pompeo trip

A corporation representing correspondents masking the State Division made the announcement in an announcement on Monday. The group says it believes the removing of Michele Kelemen from the press pool was a response to the flare-up between Pompeo and her NPR colleague Mary Louise Kelly. 

“We are able to solely conclude that the State Division is retaliating towards Nationwide Public Radio on account of this change,” Shaun Tandon, president of the State Division Correspondents’ Affiliation, mentioned within the assertion.

The State Division and NPR didn’t instantly reply.
