Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) castigated anchor Chris Cuomo and his outrage over his colleague being known as a “liberal hack” by Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.).
“NY Dem royalty Chris Cuomo declares ‘I am unable to imagine folks would vote for’ McSally, or McConnell, or any GOP candidate,” Cruz mocked from his Twitter account, referring to Cuomo’s well-known Democratic political household.
“Clutching his pearls, in the exact same breath, he says he cannot perceive why anybody would possibly assume CNN are liberal hacks,” Cruz continued.
Cuomo, together with different CNN regulars, expressed shock and outrage when McSally ignored questions from journalist Manu Raju concerning the impending Senate impeachment trial.
In a second tweet, Cruz defined why so many believed the mainstream media to be biased towards Republicans.
“Professional tip: actual “journalists” do not (1) kiss as much as each Dem, (2) refuse to ask them exhausting Qs, (3) relentlessly assault each Republican, (4) lie when doing so & (5) all the time, all the time push the prevailing Dem narrative of the second. You realize this, as does Manu. You simply select to not,” he added.
Defenders of Raju say that McSally was merely attempting to duck the query he put to her about whether or not she was prepared to just accept new witnesses within the Senate impeachment trial. Later when discussing the incident with Fox Information’ Laura Ingraham, she continued to keep away from answering the query.
