URBANA — Champaign County Government Darlene Kloeppel is promoting for a county supervisor of assessments, although present Supervisor of Assessments Paula Bates stated Friday she wasn’t planning to resign or retire.
Kloeppel introduced Friday that functions are being accepted for a four-year time period as supervisor of assessments starting in April.
The supervisor of assessments is appointed for 4 years.
Kloeppel stated she assumes Bates shall be amongst those that will apply for the upcoming time period.
She’s promoting the place so others who’re certified can have an opportunity to use, she stated.
“I’m simply letting folks know that is open,” Kloeppel stated.
