His identify is Paul Barry and if he’s to be believed, he’s main the combat in opposition to bias within the Australian media. This week the Media Watch host introduced an Australian Communications and Media Authority survey of round 2000 folks which revealed 85 per cent of respondents had considerations that “information is reported from a specific perspective slightly than being balanced or neutral”.
“That can come as no nice shock to followers of Media Watch, which recurrently reveals how unhealthy information and present affairs protection will be,” proclaimed a self-congratulatory Barry. He then listed eight circumstances of what he claimed had been examples of those breaches, two of which had been from Information Corp newspapers. Tellingly, he didn’t cite any from ABC.
