'Cambridge Analytica planted fake news' – BBC News



A former worker of London-based political consulting agency Cambridge Analytica has mentioned the corporate “completely” planted pretend information.
Christopher Wylie mentioned Cambridge Analytica used the non-public knowledge of 50 million Fb members to affect the US presidential election in 2016.
Fb mentioned Aleksandr Kogan, who created the character app from which the info was harvested, has agreed to be audited, however Mr Wylie – who made the claims about the way in which the info was gathered and used – has declined.
Cambridge Analytica denies any wrongdoing.
